Road Runner, a service of Time Warner Cable, in partnership with The University of Akron's Continuing Education Department is Offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for over 300 Web-Based training programs.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are a nationally recognized measure of completion of noncredit professional development learning activities by and provider, in this case The University of Akron.
CEUs can be used to:
- Provide employers with a history of an employee's professional development activities
- Apply for relicensure or recertification, as defined by state agencies or professional organizations
- Provide a basis for an employee's eligibility for a salary increase or promotion
- Provide a record for Lifelong Learning Tax Credits
To obtain CEUs for a course, follow these steps:
1. Sign up for Road Runner's Web-Based Training for a low monthly fee (click here)
2. Print out the Scores Verification Form that is available after you complete a course
3. Complete the University of Akron's CEU Application (click here for this form) and send it in along with the Scores Verification Form, a completed Course Evaluation Form (click here for this form) and your $15.00 fee
